A new influx of New Yorkers moved to sunny Miami in recent years for better affordability and warmer weather (and for some, to be in a red state). This recent migration has boosted demand and prices, making Miami the least affordable market in the U.S., according to a new RealtyHop report.

Still there are many perks for New Yorkers who want to move here. For starters, the median listing price of $589,000 remains considerably lower than Manhattan. Property taxes are also lower and you don't have to pay city or state income taxes. And you are likely to get more square footage and amenities. Many condos on the market now have private balconies, parking spaces, and waterfront views.

You also don’t have to give up cultural amenities because there’s more than beaches and yacht clubs here. There are festivals like Art Basel, museums including Pérez Art Museum Miami and The Bass, luxury shopping destinations such as Bal Harbour Shops, and an international dining scene.

And you're only a three-hour flight to NYC (one of the reasons many New Yorkers go here for a quick escape).

So if you’re looking to move to Miami, check out these five condos for sale under $600,000.
